TypeTune — Privacy Policy

Overview

TypeTune is designed to work without an account. We collect the minimum data needed to run the service, and we never sell your data.

Data we collect

• Anonymous device identifier — a random UUID generated on first launch. It is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID.
• Your selected MBTI type — used to personalize music recommendations.
• Playback feedback — play, like, dislike, and skip events with the session type, sent to our server to improve track curation for each personality type.

What we don't do

• No account or sign-up is required; we do not collect your name, email, or contacts.
• No advertising SDKs, no cross-app tracking.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive anonymized purchase state (e.g. whether a subscription is active) to unlock features, but we never see your payment details.

Data retention & deletion

Usage data is tied to a random device identifier, not to your identity. Deleting the app removes the identifier from your device; you may request deletion of associated server records via the contact below.
